Our monuments, our heritage

Many legends are set in monasteries or, in general, in churches. These religious buildings are functional to the development of the legend, but over time have become part of the religious and artistic heritage of the country. This travel develops mostly in Italy where we are going to virtually visit three important landmarks in Italian culture: the abbey of Saint Galgano and the Montesiepi hermitage is the starting point of our travel. The other Italian stops are the monastery Sacra di San Michele and the basilica of Saint Ambrogio. Curtea de Arges (MasterulManole) is one of the most famous monasteries in Romania. It is a monumental church and its style makes of it one of the most representative Romanian monasteries. The last stop is a very special Bulgarian church built in the rock.
