It was a good project. The legends always have their charm and their importance and finding links between different cultures and traditions is really fascinating.

I didn't know the Parsifal project and I was enchanted by it.

On-line Repository of legends and traditional tales because it contains an important documentation of the historical and cultural heritage, which can be transmitted to today's and future generations. I had difficulty choosing between the 3 outputs as they are all equally interesting and relevant from the point of view of teaching.

Legend, as it provides information on legends that founded the history of our country's assets, which we often ignore (enhancement).

The interactive map is very immediate and therefore more effective in terms of communication.

Teachers of literary subjects can take interesting ideas. New skills can also be developed in computer science.

I would say that all of them can be useful even if as a chemistry Teacher little exploitable for my teaching. The involvement of the children is very interesting, demonstrating that our enthusiasm can move resources in them that they themselves do not recognize.

The project is innovative due to how it combines tradition with innovation. In our society we work with legends and folk tales and we know how important it is to make youth interested in it, to pass on our culture. Legend about Ślęza is not a well-known legend but it is really important for Slavonic culture. It is good that it become international. I like also that it is on a map and anybody interested can find it and visit.

I like the idea of map. It is helpful at teaching many subjects. This map is a very good teaching material. It will help student to see trails between European countries, connections and roots. Use of IT in learning is trending and it is future.

The idea of the project is similar to what we are aiming at in our library – to make kids interested in reading and in local culture. It is wonderful that they become familiar with folk tales and they find connections with other countries due to it. Legends are beautiful lesson of timeless values and history at the same time.

It was really funny to work in this project. I didn't know many legends.  Legend heroes are similar to my favorite fantasy heroes. You know Wiedźmin (The Witcher – my comment). It is cool that we have similar legends with other countries in Europe!

It was nice to work with legends. I was reading legends when I was a child. I now know that they are not only for kids, they have a message.  Our teacher was really creative with it. I want to use the map on holidays to see all places with dragons.

I teach English language. I believe that legends and a map are wonderful teaching aids :) On my subject we can focus on anything that is interesting for students and it is in English, obviously. Using internet aids with ready activities makes it easy and flexible. Robert (a Teacher involved in the project) is my friend so I was observing his work – in my opinion, it was really interesting.

The project is very interesting. The students I work with loved it. It was very interesting to them to follow the path from the project to search for interesting legends in their own region and to build routes to connect the places where the legends happen. I personally like the essays, which show common characters and events between legends from the different countries.

Through the world of fantasy and adventure we can teach them how to value their own culture, how to be better people and to see all people and cultures have the same believes. I think that including an app in the project results make it much more appealing for youngsters. Legends and essays are very interesting and can be easily used in language, history or geography classes.

Learning trough stories is great method, especially for younger students. It develops their creative thinking, analytical capabilities. The project also can help in studying the national and European history - it is fun to follow how the same characters appear in countries, which seem not be very close in culture, yet they are. It is good for students to see how characters in the legend overcome different difficulties. As a teacher I find the Parsifal project helpful in my work - it offers variety of possibilities to use the content.

Legends have often been used for educational purposes. They give genuine insights into the values of a culture and also promote common European roots. Identifying shared values and similarities helps students develop a sense of commitment to global solidarity and a deep feeling of caring for the heritage. Cultural heritage offers many opportunities to tell stories about the past which students can relate to their own experience. Legends create a certain moral system, which shows people how they should behave themselves and how to apply the moral system to the whole of society. Legends focus on fighting evil and saving lives and teach us that, eventually, good triumphs over evil. Also, legends help students explore important life themes relevant to their future, describe failures and successes, allowing readers and/or listeners to avoid mistakes or helping them reach a successful outcome. Stories about real events can reveal new perspectives helping adolescents to critically check the coherence of belief systems and values or to reshape their value system and identities. As a former students of Language and Literature, I cannot decide on one single source above the others; the legends themselves are interesting, from a folklore point of view, the essays written based on the legends identified resemble literary criticism, due to their qualitative content and scientific approach. Lastly, the interactive map provides a wonderful visual tool for exploring the geography of the legends identified. If I were to teach literature / folklore topics in a school / university, the tools provided would definitely form a part of the resources used in class.
