But in Bulgarian legends Dragons also protect the village from other dragons, disasters (gale or icy storm, which can destroy the crops) or offer wise advises to people when they have usnolvable problems.
The Bulgarian legend of the Pirin`s Dragon says that the most beautiful maiden -Stana, was stolen by the Pirin dragon and he made her his wife. Unfortunately, he was killed by a beast - The Belasitsa Dragon, and she became a widow. Then she gave a birth to an extremely strong and big child, who had wings. After the dragon was killed by another evil dragon the child managed to killed the dragon, who murdered his father and started the can of “dragon” people, who were strong and helped other people in the village.
