Christian faith in legends

Faith is important part of any culture that is why trough out the time people used to believe in many gods usually related with nature like thunder or lightning. Most countries in Europe became Christians, so the miracles, or appearance of the holy figures are a common similarity. Belief in manifestation of saint characters gave explanations to certain mysteries that people couldn’t understand. Having explanation made people calm, especially if the explanation involved some higher power sent from God.
