Human sacrifice and works of art (man made or natural)

Outstanding works of art, especially those erected in the Middle Ages, as well as breathtaking landscapes were explained through human sacrifice. The majestic Curtea de Arges Monastery in Romania, the Devil's Bridge in Bulgaria and Mount Sorapiss in Italy, all owe their perpetual beauty to the sacrifice humans made, willingly or not, so that could leave something magnificent to the humanity.
